DEDDIE reminds residents that if work is completed ahead of schedule, power may be restored before the stated end time. For this reason, all electrical installations and network cables should be treated as live at all times — even during a declared outage. Approaching, touching, or handling cables or any part of the network, even if found lying on the ground, is strictly forbidden and poses a serious risk of electrocution.
