Apokoronas council opens accountability session to the public
The Apokoronas municipal council is holding a special public accountability session on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The session covers the third two-month period of 2026 — May and June — and is open to any member of the public who wishes to attend or watch online.
Where and how will it take place?
The session will be held in person at the municipal council chamber in Vrises. Councillors or community presidents who have genuine difficulty attending in person may join by video conference. The session will be broadcast live on the municipality's YouTube channel and recorded in full.
What is discussed — and what is not?
This is a dedicated accountability session: elected councillors and community presidents put questions to the municipal administration about its work during May and June. No decisions are made and no other business may be raised outside the pre-submitted topics.
- Maximum topics from councillors: 10
- Maximum topics from community presidents: 2
- Submission deadline: Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
- How to submit: in writing or by email
If more topics are submitted than the permitted maximum, the session chair will draw lots in public at the start of the meeting to decide which ones make the agenda.
How to get a topic on the agenda
Topics must be submitted by councillors or community presidents — members of the public cannot submit directly. If you want an issue raised, contact your local councillor or community president before the deadline.
