What you need to know
If technical crews finish their work ahead of schedule, electricity may be restored before the stated end time. However, DEDDIE stresses that all power lines and network components must be treated as live at all times — even if they appear to be lying on the ground. Approaching or touching any cables or network elements is strictly forbidden and carries a serious risk of fatal injury.
